[IN THE NEWS] Sunright Boba Milk Tea

Sunright Boba Milk Tea

Things are looking up. Spring is here and the weather is beautiful. Even better, covid cases are down and places are starting to reopen. There are sunny days ahead and I could not be happier. I’m especially happy to be seeing my friends and family again after months of virtual communication. Recently, I was invited to visit Sunright Tea Studio to sample their drinks and it was the perfect time to reunite with one of my favorite friends and enjoy some delicious libations while we caught up.

Sunright Tea Studio is an up and coming tea bar that is rapidly expanding across the Southland (and even into NorCal). Currently, there are 9 locations scattered throughout LA and Orange Counties with several others due to open in the coming months. With so many options it was difficult to choose a location to visit and we finally settled on Costa Mesa. Located in The OC Mix its picturesque patio area was the perfect spot for us to enjoy some tasty teas.

Sunright Tea Studio prides itself in using locally sourced ingredients as often as possible and preparing their unique toppings in house. Nowhere is this more evident than in their signature drink, Sunright Boba Milk Tea. This fan favorite features Ceylon black tea, their house milk, brown sugar syrup and freshly prepared brown sugar boba (freshly prepared boba is a key ingredient for a delicious drink). Sunright states that shaking the drink 17 times will ensure it tastes perfect and I must say I agree. After counting out my shakes I took a sip and it was delicious. Not too milky, not too sweet but just right. And the boba was soft and flavorful just as it should be.
